For the past eighteen years, Stony Creek Swim Center has been offering
the highest quality swim lessons in Central Indiana. We have created
a comfortable, nurturing environment with loving instructors. We strive
to not only teach children the physical skills to navigate the water
- we want every child to develop a love and respect for the water
that will contribute to their health and wellness for a lifetime.

Lesson Schedule
Stony Creek Swim Center offers an open-registration system.
You can register and withdraw at any time. This means a
student stays in a class until they mover another level, withdraw,
or the parent changes their day or time. Children are
evaluated at the end of each month to determine if they are ready to
move to the next level.
We try very hard to move them to a different class at the same
time as their old class. However, with so many students this
is not always possible and we may have to change days or times.
Parent/Tot
Classes.
Stony Creek
Parent/Tot classes are a great way to spend time and learn
together. For your child, the classes are pure fun. For you,
classes are a wonderful way to take advantage of the unique manner
in which water can strengthen relationships. We know that
Parent/Tot classes are a wonderful way to help your child associate
water with pleasure and fun (rather than fear and anxiety); in turn,
developing a life-long love and respect of the water. We utilize a
“Diaper Dolphin” philosophy and teach submersion techniques.
However, at no time will you be forced to submerge your child if you
are not inclined to do so.
Baby
1 2 months – 18 months
Baby
2 18 months – 36 months
Super
Swimmers 1 20 months – 36 months (registration via
instructor recommendation)
Note: Please
register your child for age appropriate levels. The skills taught
within each level are geared to the specific age. Parents of children
30 months of age, who naturally LOVE the water and are eager to
separate from Mom or Dad may speak with the instructor about
registering for a group class. With children, it is a wise rule of
thumb to go slow and don’t push.
